Every day, people across the UK struggle with body image, eating disorders, low self-esteem and mental health challenges.
Too many are suffering in silence, believing no-body understands what they're going through.
Fundraising for Been There means you're helping us train more mentors, support more mentees, and ensure nobody has to navigate recovery alone.
Whether you're taking on a physical challenge, organising an event, or creating your own fundraiser, every pound raised helps us reach more people who need support.

In August 2024, our Founder and CEO, Tessa Peters, walked 61km to raise £61,000 for the e 61% of adults in the UK who report feeling negative around their body.
Supporters joined sections of the route, shared the campaign online, or donated directly, and with all contributions helping us spread the message that no-one has to struggle alone.
Donations raised contribute to Been There’s existence, of providing compassionate support to those struggling with body image, and/or eating disorder related challenges.
